NiZA Business Solutions is seeking an experienced Sr. Linux Systems Administrator for shift 3 support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities.
This is a full-time, on-site at the client’s facility (Dulles, VA) role supporting a large Government client initiative and requires shift work with possible nights and weekends.
Security Clearance Requirement:
· Must be a US Citizen - Must have a current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Must be able to obtain DHS suitability prior to starting employment.
NOTE: Candidates who do not meet the minimum security clearance requirements WILL NOT be considered.
Required Skills:
· Linux Systems Administrator applies current technologies to the design, development, evaluation and integration of computer information systems and networks to maintain system security.
· Works with commercial computer product vendors in the design and evaluation of state-of-the-art secure COTS applications, operating systems, networks and database products and technology.
· Provides security engineering and integration services to internal customers.
· Involved in a wide range of issues including secure architectures, secure electronic data traffic, network security, information security and privacy.
· Develops security systems for any manual or automated systems environments.
· Responsible for ensuring the protection of company data against unauthorized disclosure, accidental or intentional loss of data, or unauthorized modification.
· Knowledge of Red Hat version 6 or 7(rhel6/rhel7) with the ability to engineer, install, administer and maintain
· Skilled in Linux-related scripting (Bash, Perl, Python, etc.)
· Proficiency with configuration management using Ansible or Puppet
· Kernel infrastructure understanding in a Linux environment
· Experience analyzing and evaluating the security of new and existing IT systems and the procedures to protect information system assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction
· Experience analyzing and evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of Information technology and security controls that are in place.
· Knowledge and understanding of operating systems, networks and services.
· Experience evaluating security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.
· Manage changes to system and assesses the security impact of those changes.
Desired Skills:
· Experience with Apache web server configuration and management
· Management, deployment and troubleshooting of Java and Tomcat applications
· Experience and/or familiarity with the following network protection devices: Firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), log analysis, malware analysis, network traffic flow and packet analysis

Desired Certifications:
· Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education

NiZA Business Solutions is seeking an experienced System Operations (SysOps) Service Desk (SOSD) Manager who reports to the Director of Technical Services. The SOSD Manager is expected to be process oriented and accountable for the overall success of the SysOps Service Desk.
This is a full-time, on-site at the client’s facility (Pensacola, FL) role supporting a large Government client initiative.
Security Clearance Requirement:
· Must be a US Citizen - Must have an active Top-Secret clearance and be able to obtain a SCI. Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability

Required Skills:
· Managing/supervising a Service Desk environment
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
· Must be able to manage multiple priorities in an efficient manner
· Understanding of general help desk procedures, company processes, etc. –
· Ability to design and implement effective policies to achieve consistent team results.
· Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
· Familiarity with Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) ticketing systems (ServiceNow) required.
· Efficient delegation and task prioritization –
· Ability to interview and select employees in accordance with company guidelines and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) commitments –
· Ability to coordinate and facilitate staff training –
· Ability to provide feedback, coach employee performance, and effectively implement disciplinary action as needed –
· Ability to manage and resolve conflicts as they arise.
Desired Skills:
· Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
· Understanding of the technology landscape (cloud computing, hardware, Microsoft infrastructure, etc.) highly preferred.
Desired Certifications:
ITIL, SAFe, PMP - DOD 8570.1-M IAM Level III
Education Requirement:
Bachelors’s degree in related field; 8+ years of applicable, hands-on experience or HS Diploma with 22 years of directly relevant experience.
